Procedures, Polices, Planning, and Budgeting for Technology Environments:

Educational technology leaders coordinate development and direct implementation of technology infrastructure procedures, policies, plans, and budgets for PK-12 schools. 

Strategic Plan - A collaboration assignment in my Managing Technological Change class was to create a strategic plan to incorporate online classes at  Central Valley High School, a  fictious local  school.  I worked remotely with two other classmates as we planned all aspects of implementing online education at Central Valley.  The class's peer review process showed that our strategic plan was one of the favorites of both students and our professor. 

This project demonstrates achievement of this standard because it required development of plans to configure all aspects of starting online classes at a local high school.  Everything from ordering equipment to making a schedule for the project to creating a very detailed budget was accomplished by this collaborative project.

Practicum Reflective Paper - After I finished my 100-hour Instructional Design practicum at The Cleveland Clinic, I shared my thoughts about the experience in a reflective paper where I highlighted what I learned, the duties and procedures of the practicum, and other miscellaneous experiences that I had.

This project shows achievement of this standard because it afforded me the professional development opportunity to use my instructional technology skills in a "real" business world setting.
