Web 2.0 tech tool overview paper - I chose Social Networking as a Web 2.0 technology tool to research and review for an assignment in a class I took called Instructional Applications of the Internet.  I reviewed some lesser-known social networking options in addition to the commonly used ones like Facebook and Twitter.  My goal was to determine if social networking sites have any value in an educational setting. 

Image design exercise - I created and designed a brochure on George Eastman for my Designing Visuals for Instruction class.  It was in this class that I learned the concepts of design such as color, figure and ground, and proximity.  

Both of these projects show my achievement of this standard by identifying technology knowledge needed to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, particularly with the Web 2.0 tool assignment on social media.
